From the breeder:

Our breeding program is not huge, but rather on the small side. We prefer to focus on the quality of the kittens we produce vs quantity. Our main priority lies with the health and temperament of all of our ragdoll breeders and their kittens. We are cage-less and are very proud of that. We take great care at socializing our kittens so that they leave us for their furrever homes, they are well adjusted and confident lil ragdoll kittens. Occasionally we have retired breeders looking for their furrever homes too.

From the breeder:

My passion for animals started early on. Kittens are socialized in a ‘smoke free’ home environment. My start in Ragdolls was small – first with the pet – Toffee, the show alter – Boo, and the breeding trio. I started showing locally in CCA in 1992 – with an occasional TICA show. I specialize in the captive breeding of endangered wildlife for conservation and reintroduction programs.

From the breeder:

We were introduced to the wonderful Ragdoll breed by our new Yorkie owner who was also a successful and long-time Ragdoll breeder. We fell in love with this huge, gentle and affectionate blue eyed cat who acted more like a dog in a cat suit. We were fortunate to be able to acquire some top quality show prospects. These beautiful cats now share our home with the Yorkies and are very much loved and spoiled by all of us. They are also the proud parents of the most beautiful kittens.

Make sure you ask about:

  • Health history of the parents and vaccinations. They should have their first vaccinations by the time they're adopted.
  • Whether they've bred their Ragdoll Cats with other breeds (they should disclose this and it would make it not a purebred lien.

I have had two interests since I was very young… the Internet and cats. I grew up with two lovely cats in my family, Midnight and Chloe. But when I started looking for a cat as an adult, I realized how few reliable resources there are for finding ethical breeders. So I combined my Internet skills and cat knowledge to create Cat Kingpin, the #1 resource for cat breeders online. Have a question or suggestion for my list? You can reach me here.
